Quick Drop-and-Hook Hydraulic Goose Neck
The quick drop-and-hook hydraulic goose neck consists of a goose neck body, loading oil cylinders, end girders, a traction pin, a hydraulic system and an electrical control system. Matched with a 6X4 tractor unit, the front end of the hydraulic goose neck is connected to the tractor unit via a saddle and a 90# traction pin, and the rear end is connected to the trailer via a tongue hook. When the hydraulic goose neck is lowered to its minimum position, the tongue hook is disengaged from the trailer, enabling quick drop-and-hook operation.
A 6X4 tractor unit is adopted and modified with the addition of a hydraulic pump station and a control system to power the oil cylinders of the hydraulic goose neck. When the loading oil cylinders on the hydraulic goose neck extend, the front end of the trailer is lifted; the vehicle can be towed and driven when the trailer is raised to the middle position. When the loading oil cylinders on the hydraulic goose neck retract, the front end of the trailer descends to the ground. After the oil cylinders retract further to the low position, the tongue hook of the hydraulic goose neck is disengaged from the trailer, and the tractor unit moves forward, achieving rapid separation of the tractor unit from the rear trailer.
It can be matched with different trailers for various applications, such as hydraulic goose neck dump trucks, steel scrap trough trucks, steel coil transporters and so on. This goose neck is compatible with multiple trailers, which reduces the allocation of tractor units and drivers, effectively improves production efficiency, and cuts down procurement and manufacturing
