The self-propelled slag pot transporter mainly used for the high-temperature loading and transfer transportation of steel (aluminum) ladles and steel (aluminum) slag pots.



This type of vehicle is a high-tech product integrating mechanical, electrical and hydraulic technologies independently developed by our company. It is equipped with functions such as hydraulic drive, hydraulic suspension, independent steering, integral hydraulic lifting of the whole vehicle and automatic capping device for slag pots. Adopting the original hydraulic full-wheel steering system designed by our company, the vehicle features flexible operation and can realize steering with no or little slip in a small site environment, leading the industry with patented technologies. At present, our company is continuously developing a series of products of different tonnages to meet the needs of the metallurgical industry.


Self-Propelled Slag Pot Transporter


The self-propelled power transporter is equipped with hydraulic drive, hydraulic suspension, independent steering, integral hydraulic lifting and leveling of the whole vehicle, as well as automatic metering and weighing functions. It adopts imported bus controllers (EPEC2023, EPEC2024), CAN-BUS and on-board PLC to control the driving, steering, lifting, leveling and the opening/closing of the slag pot cover. With the original hydraulic full-wheel steering system designed by our company, the vehicle operates flexibly and can achieve steering with no or little slip in a small site environment.


The main structure of the vehicle consists of the frame, suspension support system and slewing bearing, drive axle, driven axle, steering system, cab, as well as power, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical control systems.

 

Mature universal parts and standard parts are adopted as much as possible in the design, and the main supporting parts are all selected from well-known domestic and foreign brands to improve the reliability of the whole machine. The comprehensive performance and technical level of the whole vehicle have reached the international advanced level.

 

The vehicle can also be used for the high-temperature loading and transfer transportation of hot metal ladles with hot metal and waste slag pots with waste slag.



Slag Pot Capping Device

The slag pot transporter is equipped with an automatic capping device for slag pots, which is composed of pot cover structural parts, high-temperature resistant zirconium-containing alumina fiber cotton, hydraulic drive components, rod systems and other parts. It adopts a parallel link structure, and the cab is installed in a central semi-sunken structure. The pot cover can be opened during the hoisting operation of the slag pot, which can protect the cab and power components.

To reduce the vehicle width and facilitate entry and exit of the factory building, and considering the charging bay and the hook direction of the crane, the slag pot is installed in a longitudinal seated manner.
